Spur Gears

Spur gears are wheels that have teeth that moves against other gears. They often change the speed or torquerotating force of an axlea rod that goes through the center of a gear. This is done by changing the number of teeth on the gear or by changing how far the teeth are from the center of the rotating axle. *Louisiana Tech University, 2016
